Welcome to Bloc 027!

Our climbing gym is located in Briançon and was built in the former military headquarters of the Berwick district. The historic building was completely rehabilitated for the project. B027, which hosted the first ski factory in France, and later an apparel shop inspired the name of the climbing gym Bloc 027.

We are committed to the environment and the history of outdoor climbing in Briançon. Bloc 027 is a place where people meet to share their passion; climbers and mountain enthusiasts will find it appealing for different forms of practice.

The Gym

150 bouldering routes from beginner to expert (graded from 3 to 8) are layed out in slab, vertical and overhang

New boulders set weekly!

A 630 m² climbing/playing surface

A space dedicated to training, coaching, and working on motor skills: Spray Wall, Pan Güllich, and hangboarding

The Restaurant Bar welcomes you to the heart of Briançon city for a drink, a snack, or a full meal.

Minors under 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Indepent access for children above 12 will be granted only with mandatory parental authorization.

Hungry, or thirsty? The Bar/Restaurant area welcomes you at any time of the day.

For a more complete menu, the restaurant proposes different options for lunch and dinner.

Chillout area

Want to “chill”, have a drink, make plans for your next “outdoor” adventure, or play board games? This cosy space provides you with board games, guidebooks, maps, and comfy sofas!

Work area

Optimise your work by taking time for both relaxation and climbing. Enjoy our working space for a few hours on your computer, a business meal, a work meeting…

Locker-room & toilets

You have at your disposal showers, rooms for changing your clothes, and toilets. Remember to take your padlock so you can store your belongings in the lockers!

Reception area, shop, and rentals

Come meet us! Our team will be happy to give you a tour, and guide you!

In our outdoor shop, you’ll find all the accessories you need for your bouldering session: chalk, brush, bottle, strap, moisturizer… as well as Bloc 027 products.

R+1 Bouldering zone

Slab, vertical, overhang, you name it! Come climb boulders in different styles: physical, technical, modern, or rock climbing style. Come see for yourself and challenge yourself or simply unwind.

R+2 Training and exploring

Exploring zone

One bouldering area dedicated to learning. Suitable for younger children this space was designed to start discovering, and improving motor skills and relaxation.

Training zone

40° angle spray wall and a 20°/ 30° wall, campus board (pan Güllich), hangboards and a pull-up bar, and a slab area with technical blocks in competition style.

These areas are open to our customers outside of class hours.

People with health conditions or impairments can access all the floors using the elevator, just ask the reception and they will show you the way.
